Certificates For Sale or Rent
Paradise Park allows individuals to purchase a certificate tied to a designated RV Lot.  This
arrangement is ideal for those that desire to return each year and do not wish to tow or drive
a recreational vehicle anymore.  Renting a lot full-time at  Rio Grande Valley parks usually
exceeds $3,000.00 annually.  Paradise Park dues are less than half that amount if  you own
a certificate. The advantages of certificate ownership are itemized below.

  • You are guaranteed the same lot year after year!  You never have to be concerned
    about getting a spot.  Competition for prime spots in senior parks is expected to
    increase as the baby boom generation retires.
  • You can leave your recreational vehicle on the lot.  This eliminates the need to tow a
    recreational vehicle and own a tow vehicle.
  • You can place a park model on your lot if it is preferred over a recreational vehicle.
  • You can improve your lot with a patio cover, storage shed, and landscaping.  Make
    your home away from home your own.
  • You are able to participate and vote in park decisions that affect certificate holders.
  • You have a transferable asset that can be passed on to your heirs.  
  • Certificate holders of lots may use them toward purchase of a different certificated
    property.  
  • Paradise Park Inc monthly dues are controlled by an elected board of directors and
    certificate holders.  You have a voice in controlling costs and dues.  
  • Certificate holders are permitted to rent the lot when they are not present to use it.  It
    is necessary that one of the renters be age 55+.  
  • Water, sewer, and waste removal are part of the park dues making utility costs
    affordable.
  • For owners of Recreational Vehicles renting one of the forty-five park owned lots is an
    excellent way to live the Winter Texan life at Paradise Park.
  • Renters are encouraged to participate in all park activities and events.
  • The majority of the rental lots are located on Turquoise and Moonstone streets.
  • Many renters return each year and reserve a lot each spring for the following season.
  • Lots maybe rented for long and short term stays with preference given to those
    wanting long term stays.

Many Winter Texans want the luxury of larger winter quarters than a park model or travel
trailer provide.  Paradise Park has a large mobile home section for those individuals.  Each
year a limited number of mobile homes are listed for sale by the certificate holders.  In
addition to the extra living space, certificate holders have the same advantages that
certificated RV lot holders enjoy.
